This is my fourth book done over Winter break 2013. I didn't get the chance to work on any paintings during the school semester due to other projects, but finally got to pick up my acrylic paints again to finish another book. What I learned last semester in the class that required painting with color gels really helped with the change in light and how it affected other colors in this book. I think I'm getting a better grasp, but I still need a lot of improvement before it becomes second nature.

Agua Swims Away
This is my third book painted during Summer 2012. I started LCAD in Fall 2012...so we'll see how my skills improve. I'm going to try to keep the style the same, but hopefully my speed and efficiency will pick up by getting a firmer grasp on the foundations of art and design.
Zee Works Alone
This was my second book done in Spring 2012. By the way the author's website is www.AlwaysAndForeverBooks.com. Take a look and check it out.
Dew Falls Lightly
I've been working on a few children's books for this new author named Mary Brodsky for over a year now and I have not posted any of the illustrations in the books just because I never got around to it, but now decided to update. I started before going to LCAD, so it will be exciting to see how my style and skills develop as I learn how to strengthen my technique in painting.
This was my first book from Fall 2011 entitled "Dew Falls Lightly." These illustrations are done in acrylic. I'm just going to post a few of the pictures.
