During senior year of Los Angeles Baptist High School, I didn't know what to direction to go with my career life. Though my Asian parents pushed me to become a dental hygienist or a pharmacist, my grades were never that great in the science department. Technically I wanted to get out of as many AP classes as possible and spent all my extra classes in woodshop and continued to go back even after I graduated high school. I knew that I had a gift for something in the art/creative field, but I didn't know what exactly. I got accepted to FIDM of Los Angeles and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Visual Communications, which surveyed a broad range of fields from concepts to set design, store displays, and event planning. The next year, I took some more classes at community college and occupational schools to strengthen my skills in graphic design, art, screen-printing, and cake decorating while working in the visual department for Rolling Greens in Culver City. Recently, with all the people getting married at my church, I am enjoying doing everything in the wedding department from flowers, to invitations and programs, and of course even the cake.
